We have had two programs so far offering 9 CE’s to our members and non members. We had our first organized RDA team walk in October and were able to raise $275 for the American Heart Association! We plan to organize another team walk for the Monument 10K on March 27, 2010.

Half-Price Membership
If you are not already an RDA member for the 2009-2010 year, we are now offering memberships for half price, only $12.50 to join! This will take care of your membership through May 31st.
 
We will have our annual membership meeting in May, where your registration fee pays for your 2010-2011 membership!
 
We are excited to announce that we are planning our 2nd Annual Wine and Shine event to be held at the James River Cellars Winery.

Monument 10K 2010
Are you running or walking in the Ukrops 10K? RDA would like to get a group of members together to dress up as a fruit or vegetable for Monument 10K Costume Contest!  We will not only be promoting good nutrition but hopefully we will will place as one of the top 3 groups and win a prize that we can donate to the Central Virginia Food Bank.   Please email sfetty@mcvh-vcu.edu with your wave time if you plan on participating so we may decide on a meeting time to check in at the Richmond Times Dispatch Tent the day of the event.
