I am both honored and excited to represent all the dietitians and dietetic technicians in the Richmond District this year. It is amazing how much power we as nutrition professionals have within our community. Whether you educate clients, teach students or interns, care for the elderly or sick patients in a hospital, assist a child in the community, write grants, plan menus, manage a food service department, a group of dietitians or your home, own a business, or write articles, you are a powerful member of our profession and community. Highlights from Martha Campbell’s submission regarding licensure:

Licensure will legally grant us the authority to practice dietetics in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With health care reform, It will have its advantages when passed: |
